Welcome to the Kentecky Derby Hat Making Event!

I love the Kentucky Derby. Really, I love the parties that surround the Derby. I have a friend who goes all out and she has inspired me to create this workshop. Come join us at for a fun-filled day of crafting your own unique derby hat. Whether you're a seasoned DIY-er or a complete beginner, this event is perfect for anyone looking to unleash their creativity.

Hats, headbands, feathers, flowers, tulle and beads will be the supplies we will be using to make hats, headpieces and fasinators. I will have hot glue guns at every station with plenty of supplies, though if you'd prefer to bring or have extra you'd like to share we will welcome any donation.

Bring a hat if you have one that suits you and you want to spruce it up. If you don't have one or didn't get a chance to buy one Chelsea from East Dallas Vintage will have hats you can purchase.

This is a come and go event. If you have finished your creations we ask that you please be aware of others who are looking for an open staion to make their hat. Of course we want you to stay and enjoy the wonderful food and drinks Jenn from Swizzle has to offer. We start at 5pm and our last seating will be at 7:30pm and we will be picking up the hot glue guns at 8pm on the dot.
