Kent Speak Their Name Suicide Memorial Quilt FREE Workshop

Are you bereaved by suicide and from Kent?
come along to our creative and supportive workshop to make a memorial square to honour your loved one. You don't need to know how to sew, you don't need to be creative. We can support you. Materials are provided at the workshop but you are really welcome to bring whatever else you want to bring. The square needs to be completed by July 2025, ready to be sewn into the bigger quilt.
The squares will form part of a larger quilt that will be unveiled at The Baton of Hope Event on Monday 22nd September at Dreamland Margate. The quilt then travel around Kent and be displayed at various venues each month.
Come along for as long as you need or just come and collect a starter pack and guidelines. We would love to hear about your special person. This is a safe space to cry, talk and where suicide and survival by suicide.
