This is a fantastic opportunity to meet our award-winning teams of instructors from Challenger Troop CIC. Discover how we engage directly with young people to improve respect, behaviours, attendance, and attainment. Our multi-award-winning teams are dedicated to engaging with and motivating students to develop positive attitudes, enhance their behaviour, and improve levels of engagement with the learning environment both in the classroom and beyond.

Since 2007, Challenger Troop CIC has delivered early intervention and youth engagement programmes across schools, colleges, and communities. With extensive experience supporting tens of thousands of children and young people from diverse backgrounds, our teams are skilled in reaching the most vulnerable and disengaged learners, including those with neurodiverse needs and a wide range of physical abilities.

Our highly trained staff are exceptional role models, experienced in working with pupils aged 6 to 18 — both within schools and at our beautiful 40-Acre outdoor adventure centre at Rodmersham. We deliver a range of accredited 6- and 12-week programmes designed for whole classes and targeted groups in primary and secondary schools, focusing on building respect, raising self-esteem, confidence, and social skills.

At our outdoor learning centre, students take part in adventurous, character-building activities that develop resilience, teamwork, and leadership. These experiences have consistently demonstrated positive impacts on engagement, attendance, confidence, and raising a young person’s self-esteem, making a significant impact on educational outcomes, delivering newly learnt behaviours back into the educational environment.
