BARBIE & KEN HAVE A GREAT DAY EVERY DAY!!! Look at the fun we have in store for your "Barbies" & "Kens" who spend a week in Ken's Mojo Dojo Casa House Camp!
Day 1: Rock Star Guitar - Campers will learn the essentials of rock guitar playing, including the most common chords and rhythms, some classic guitar riffs, some favorite lead guitar moves, and even a few specialty techniques for maximum rock star status!
*Equipment required: a guitar (acoustic or electric) and a supply of picks. If electric is chosen, you are encouraged to bring along a small practice amp if you have one, as well as a guitar cord for plugging in. Tuners are optional but highly encouraged.
Day 2: Introduction to Aikido: AIKIDO is a traditional Japanese martial art that focuses on movement, balance, and teamwork! Students will work closely with one another under instruction to learn introductory movements and maneuvers in a safe environment that can ready them for other martial arts classes and self-defense learning!
Day 3: Amazing Race: Teams will be racing from area to area (country to country). In each area, teams will need to complete a challenge to continue on to the next detour or roadblock!
Day 4: Photography: Campers will learn how to take better photos using the elements of design. This day will be a BLAST with photo scavenger hunts, DIY backdrop creation, and more!
**Since cameras are all different, we ask your child comes into camp with a basic understanding of how to use their camera.
Day 5: Beach: Campers will enjoy a day of fun "beach" activities!
