Kendal Pride will offer something different to the other pride festivals that take place across the UK - we’ll be bringing colour to the Old Grey Town.
Rooted in our natural environment we’ll take people on adventures to enjoy the outdoors in an inclusive and safe way.
The arts will play a central role too with craft creativity and film all part of the mix and there’ll be spaces for families and young people to celebrate pride together.
We’ll encourage and empower local businesses to become more LGBTQIA+ inclusive giving them the knowledge to make sure Kendal is queer-friendly 365 days a year.
All of this will make up the Kendal Pride weekend but our activities will continue year-round so LGBTQIA+ people can make connections and feel safe in the South Lakes.
