How does it work?
*** BRING A MAXIMUM OF FIVE ITEMS TO SWAP PER PERSON ***
Collect together up to 5 outdoor items you have to swap. Please bring your items in a condition you would like to receive them. Items to be laid out on tables. Come along to the event. There will be rails to hang clothes by size. You will be given tokens, (see below) for each item you bring to swap…. Browse. Mingle. Enjoy. And use your tokens to “buy” the items in the swap…. No money exchanges hands inside the venue.
How will the tokens work?
1 token per hat
1 token per belt
2 token per top
2 token per trousers
3 token per pair of shoes
3 token per jacket
2-3 tokens per rucsac
You receive tokens when you enter the venue depending on how many items you have brought…
What clothing are we looking for?
Predominantly these events are for outdoor clothing. Don’t forget shoes, belts, accessories, bags etc.
What happens if we make a profit on ticket sales?
I will donate any profits to Bendrigg Trust charity.
What happens if there are clothes left at the end of the evening?
I will donate these to Manna House. Unless you stay to the end and get your items back.
