It's almost time for one of our favorite hometown shows of the year - Ken & Brad's 13th Annual Backyard Concert on Saturday, June 29. Bring a picnic, blanket, lawn chair, drinks and enjoy live music on a warm Baltimore eve in Ken's Guilford backyard. We're delighted to be joined by our special guest this year Rakish. The mighty-talented duo of Maura Shawn Scanlin and Conor Hearn explore tunes and songs from Irish and American folk traditions in a way that reflects their shared interest in and love for old traditional tunes and chamber music. They put on a dazzling show featuring top-notch instrumentals, touching originals and captivating harmonies. The Ken & Brad Quartet will start the evening with a full set of their unique blend of Old Time and American roots music on banjo, hammered dulcimer, bass, fiddle and three-part harmonies featuring Alex Lacquement and Rachel Eddy.
