About this Event

Join us for an exclusive screening of Kemba, a powerful film based on the real-life story of Kemba Smith Pradia, followed by the unique opportunity to hear from Kemba herself during an audience Q&A. The film follows the journey of a young college student whose life is upended after falling for the wrong man, ultimately facing harsh consequences for crimes she didn’t commit. Kemba sheds light on the devastating impact of the “war on drugs” and one woman’s resilience as her family, the NAACP Legal Defense Fund, and powerful advocates fight for her freedom.
