Ausschließlich aus gestohlenen Samples produziert, von Pop-Refrains bis William Basinski, ist Kelmans Musik intuitiv und emotional. In Kelman Duran’s films, the references usually follow the narrative. In his music, their connective tissue is woven by the laws of poetry. Produced exclusively from ’stolen‘ samples, including pop refrains and avant-garde loops by William Basinski, Kelman’s music is very intuitive and emotional, celebrating the origins of music in their most beautiful form: as live acts and fluctuating experience between the music and the audience. On the dancefloor, Kelman is keen to experiment with relationships, shifting between ambient, looping refrains and reggaeton.
