Join Us in Celebrating 15 Years of Kelly's Angels, Inc.
On Saturday, October 11, 2025, Kelly's Angels will be hosting a grand birthday celebration as we mark 15 incredible years of our organization and its growing community of kindness. Join us to reflect on the lives we’ve touched along the way, and honor the angels who have touched our lives.
The event promises to be one to remember, featuring live music by the Audiostars, a complimentary signature cocktail, open bar for wine and beer, food by Mazzone Catering, a silent auction, some very important guests, and a few surprises, too!
All proceeds benefit Kelly’s Angels to help children in New York’s Capital Region who have lost a parent or sibling to cancer or other illness or are battling a life-threatening condition.

The Dake Family, the Dake Family Foundation, and Stewart’s Shops
Bill Dake serves as chairman of the Stewart’s Shops Board of Directors and has been providing leadership to the family-owned convenience store chain for more than 50 years. Susan Dake is the president of Stewart’s Foundation, which contributes millions of dollars each year to area charities with the goal of strengthening communities in New York and Vermont. The Dakes have provided contributions to healthcare organizations, educational institutions, civic groups, and organizations that support the arts. Kelly’s Angels is proud to have been a recipient of the generosity of the Dakes, the Stewart’s Foundation, and Stewart’s Holiday Match. We’re fortunate to have the Dakes as longtime supporters of Kelly’s Angels.
Retired Lake George Mayor Bob Blais
Bob Blais served as the mayor of Lake George for 52 years, earning him the distinction as New York State’s longest-serving mayor. One of his defining accomplishments during his long tenure as mayor was bringing the year-round Ronald McDonald Family Retreat to Krantz Cottage in Lake George. Even in retirement, Mayor Blais continues to volunteer in and around the Queen of American Lakes. He conceived the idea and has led efforts for the annual Kelly’s Angels Summer-Lovin’ Funfest, which celebrated its third year this past July. Giving back and being of service to others has been the work of Bob’s life. We’re grateful that he lends his boundless energy and compassion to uplift children and families in our area, many Kelly’s Angels kids among them.
