About Tekla Waterfield -
Seattle based indie-folk singer/songwriter, 2018 Listen Up! Women in Music grant recipient, and 2019 Jack Straw Cultural Center recording artist grant recipient, Tekla Waterfield's music falls in the realm of indie folk, pulling elements from rock, soul and country, united by her distinct powerful and smooth vocals and point of view storytelling. Waterfield will be joined by her musical partner and husband, Jeff Fielder, William Mapp on drums, David Salonen on bass, as well as a special surprise guest or two, to celebrate the release of her 3rd solo LP, "New Skies", made possible in part thanks to the generous help of the Jack Straw Cultural Center's artist recording grant!
