St. Louis favorites Kelly Howe and Curt Landes come to Blue Strawberry for an evening of songs from The Beatles to Broadway. There will be cocktails (of course) and maybe even a guest singer or two.
Kelly Howe is a St. Louis based actor and performer. She has worked locally with Stray Dog Theatre, SATE, The Black Rep, and The Midnight Company. Most recently Kelly starred (is continuing to star) in The Midnight Company’s JUST ONE LOOK playing Linda Rondstadt right here at Blue Strawberry. She’s been singing at people in clubs like this in New York, Key West, Austin, Mykonos, etc, for more years than she’s willing to divulge.
Born in New Orleans & raised in Louisiana & Arkansas, Curt Landes moved to St. Louis in his teens. His musical adventures have led him to share the stage with (at least) 4 members of the Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Fame. Curt has played with internationally acclaimed artists Albert King, Chuck Berry, Johnnie Johnson, Glen Campbell, John Hartford & the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra.... & he has opened shows for comedian David Brenner, singer Phoebe Snow, & acclaimed jazz groups SpiroGyra, & The Yellowjackets. His recent projects include his role as music director for the multiple sellout Linda Ronstadt cabaret show "Just One Look" which won "Best of STL" kudos from the Riverfront Times & St. Louis magazine, & rave reviews from other publications.
