Kellin Kids, join us for "Spreading Holiday Cheer" at the Hope Hub! We're excited to invite kids in grades K-5 to a fun-filled afternoon of creativity and crafts! As part of this special time of year, we ask participants to bring wish list items to support the Hands of Hope gift drive. We’ll host your children as they delve into a variety of art projects, from decorating colorful holiday ornaments to creating festive decorations that will light up our space. As they unleash their artistic talents, they'll also learn about the importance of kindness and community. By discovering how to practice empathy and care for others, even those they may not know, they will be building a more compassionate future for all.
The Hands of Hope Gift Drive is a wonderful 84-year-old Greensboro tradition, begun by Mental Health Greensboro in 1940, that the Kellin Foundation is proud to continue. This gift drive ensures that children and families connected to Kellin Foundation’s services, as well as patients at Central Regional Behavioral Health Hospital, feel the joy and love of the holiday season. Let’s inspire our kids to become the caring leaders of tomorrow while having a blast crafting together!
