Kelley and the Cowboys are a traditional country band based in Western North Carolina. Founded in 2005 by multi-instrumentalist and singer Kelley Breiding, they harken to the sounds of western swing, 40’s and 50’s honky tonk, and rockabilly. Kelley is recognized as a traditional artist by Blue Ridge National Heritage Area and The NC Arts Council Folklife program.
They anchor the Blue Ridge Opry, a revival of the early country music radio show that combines classic country, old time, and bluegrass and travels to venues in North Carolina and Virginia.
Kelly and the Cowboys are joined by Knoxville honky tonk revival band The New Market Trainwrecks.
