Please note that this informal event is designed for members and local friends and is very low key, particularly on organisation, no toilets or changing facilities, There's a perpetual trophy for it, to be held for one year.

The event has taken place annually since 2002. In that year Keith, a runner and cyclist who was VCB’s treasurer, died in an accident while riding for the club.
