A prize-winning pianist at some of Europe’s most important international piano competitions (the Queen Elizabeth of Belgium and the Long-Thibaud-Crespin), KEIGO MUKAWA is starting to make waves across Europe.He has already performed with several prestigious orchestras, including the National Orchestra of France, the National Orchestra of Belgium, the Philharmonic Orchestra of Brussels, the Japan Philharmonic, the Tokyo Metropolitan Symphony Orchestra and the Philharmonic Orchestra of Prague. In addition, he is now sought after for his solo performances and is also often heard in a wide range of solo and chamber music concerts.
His repertoire includes a wide variety of genres, from Bach to contemporary music, and his recording of Maurice Ravel’s complete piano works on the Nova label has brought him much praise.
This will be the final concert presented by the JMS in 2025. Audience members are invited to enjoy a celebratory complimentary glass of wine at interval in the foyer of the Linder auditorium.
