The Charity, Oz Harvest, was chosen by the generous staff at the Pot ‘n’ Kettle Coffee House - which recently suffered a fire in their cafe resulting in temporary closure of their business while they recover from this fire.When the Rom’s team heard about this, we reached out to them with an offer to host a Keg for a Cause night in hopes to raise funds to get the cafe back on their feet - in a true display of community spirit, the Pot ‘n’ Kettle team chose to support OzHarvest instead, dedicating the funds to help others in Wagga.
This kind of humbleness and heart is what makes our Wagga community so special. So, let’s rally together to support both Pot ‘n’ Kettle and OzHarvest at this month’s Keg for a Cause night!
On Thursday, 7th of November The proceeds from every Great Northern Schooner sale will be donated directly to Wagga’s Oz Harvest .
OzHarvest is Australia’s leading food rescue organisation on a mission to ‘Nourish our Country’ by stopping good food from going to waste and delivering it to charities that help feed people in need.
OzHarvest’s yellow vans are out and about in communities every day, collecting quality surplus food from a network of donors, including supermarkets, cafes, delis, restaurants, corporate kitchens, airlines, hotels, and other food businesses. We deliver this food directly to charities that help feed people in need across the nation, free of charge.
Every single $1 raised will enable the delivery of 2 meals to those in need in the Wagga region, we are most grateful for your support!
