Craig Mercer’s new project (does this dude ever stop putting great new bands together!?!) Keepy Uppy, with able assistance from show closers Hobo Aquarium, celebrate a new single with a Halifax début performance at The Carleton on Saturday, December 7th. Live music gets happening at 8 PM and tickets are only $15 + HST advanced, or $20 + HST at the door.Keepy Uppy is the East Coast’s newest jam project from Craig Mercer (Jimmy Swift Band / Scientists of Sound) and Tom Easley (Hot Toddy, The EQ). These two veterans of the jam scene in Eastern Canada have enlisted an all-star band featuring Siobhan Martin on keys, Allison Enriquez on violin and vocals, Alex Meade on guitar, and Jordan Murphy on drums.
Part psychedelic, part funk, part jazz, and all jam — this show is their debut Halifax performance to mark the release of their new single The So Be It Union.
Special guest is Hobo Aquarium.
