Dakota Pro Musica presents a concert of music on prayer, grief, hope, and love on the theme of mental health and wellbeing. The concert was commissioned by the Mental Health and Substance Abuse Task Force of Trinity Lutheran Church in Bismarck, ND in partnership with ELCA congregations in Minot and Turtle Lake. Repertoire for the concert includes famous music by Palestrina, Purcell, Mendelssohn, Faure and Britten. There is also a number of recent compositions and arrangements of popular music and recent songs including True Colors made famous by Cyndi Lauper.
Special guest ensemble AVORA, a professional acappella ensemble from Bismarck, will be joining Dakota Pro Musica for the concert. Also Guitars 4 Vet will be performing at the Minot concert on October 4th.
