Downtown Issaquah Association is looking for volunteers to spend a couple of hours making a difference in our community. All are welcome to help with trash pickup, weeding & planting & sidewalk maintenance. There are jobs for all ages and abilities and flexible schedules. Participants are encouraged to bring their own work gloves. DIA will have supplies for clean up and planting. Students can earn their community service hours.Keep Issaquah Beautiful Day will be celebrated Earth Day Weekend, Saturday April 20th. Keep Issaquah Beautiful Day is an annual city-wide cleanup and beautification program organized and implemented by the Downtown Issaquah Association (DIA) and Kiwanis Club of Issaquah. With support from the City of Issaquah the program aims to clean up litter and garbage across the city, to beautify districts through weeding & planting and to maintain the upkeep of the Issaquah Downtown.
We'll celebrate our hard work and enjoy a community pizza party with live music from 12- 1 pm at the Historic Shell Station.
