About this Event
Follow the story of Keats’s life in this walk around Hampstead, with readings from his poetry and letters.
We will explore locations that inspired Keats, including the Vale of Health and Well Walk, and end with a walk on the Heath to arrive at Keats House.
Your ticket price includes admission to Keats House from 2pm, but the garden is open all day.
The walk lasts approximately two and a half hours and includes a couple of gentle ascents as Hampstead is famously hilly. Please dress appropriately for the weather and wear sturdy shoes as there is often mud after rain on the heath. The event will be most enjoyed by those aged 14 and over. Anyone aged 18 or under or an NUS card holder is eligible for our concession rate. No dogs please.
Please meet by the tree in Oriel Place (see photo below) five minutes before the advertised start time. Anyone arriving up to 25 minutes after the start time may be able to catch up with the group at St John’s Parish Church in Church Street or in Holly Walk.
