Head to our Facebook page or our website www.kearneydogsledraces.ca/ for all the most up to date info!Ontario’s largest dog sled racing event comes to “Ontario’s biggest little town” every year. Kearney is a quaint community of 1000 people, located just north of Huntsville, Ontario. We are located within the Robinson-Huron and Williams Treaty lands inhabited by indigenous peoples since the beginning, and acknowledge the legacy of stewardship over these lands that indigenous peoples have had.
We host 5 race classes of different distances for the professional or beginner musher to trek through the beautiful northern wilderness. Our race categories include 8 Dog Sled, 6 Dog Sled, 4 Dog Sled, 1 and 2 dog Skijor, 2 Dog Sled, and the always popular I-Kid-Arod for mini-mushers aged 5-12yo.
Our event attracts fans from all over the world. Spectators can enjoy vendors booths, our silent auction, childrens activities, dog sled rides, and more ! Join us for two days of winter fun just under 3 hours north of Toronto in Kearney Ontario on the western border of Algonquin Park.
