Join Rangers for a Kea Conservation Evening Talk at Milford Sound on 14 January 2025 to learn about the threats to this precious taonga and how local people can help local kea in their everyday. Share your knowledge of kea interactions, work together to solve issues and leave the session as a Milford Kea Ambassador!
ALSO come visit the Conservation Trailer đźš› parked at Milford Sound during the day on Tuesday 14th and Wednesday 15th January 2025 to learn more about kea & conservation.

🍔 Don’t feed kea … EVER! Human food is harmful and turns kea into beggars.
đź‘€ Watch out and slow down for kea. Car parks, roadsides and roadways are death traps for kea
🥾 Put your gear away and clean up your rubbish. Your 'stuff' attracts kea and can get them into trouble.
đźš— Close your doors. Losing your belongings to kea is your fault; not theirs!
