KCB's Speech Bubble Open Mic

Join us for an evening of literary arts and celebration at the Moxy Lower East Side hotel 🎤!

Featuring a Sacrificial KCB Poet, Trailblazing Curator, and Exceptional Artist, this open mic will expose you to top talent in the NYC literary arts scene. Learn more about publication opportunities, calls for features, and Off-Broadway auditions for Karma Comes Before.

We welcome anyone at any stage of their poetry career, whether you're a first-time performer or seasoned professional. At this open mic, everyone goes 🗣️!

We'll be convening at 6:30pm for a COCKTAIL HOUR (at The Fix attached to the Moxy Lower East Side), then transitioning to the OPEN MIC at 7:30pm (follow the signs!). Signature drinks include The Fix—an exuberant espresso martini, This One—a blend of rum, pineapple and lime, and That One—an elixir of gin, Aperol, and rhubarb.

Food will also be available for purchase, ranging between $8 to $31. From spicy tuna tartar to a petite filet mignon, The Fix has all the write choices for your taste buds ✏️.
