We‘re a group for families who love to ride around KC with our kiddos, and we’d love for you to join us!
May 12 Ride Leader: Dan Etwas
This casual, all-ages, inclusive, no-drop ride will start on the Trolley Trail at 56th & Brookside (by The Wild Way coffee trailer) and head south to KC Bier Co. As needed, we'll regroup at the Starbucks in Brookside.
Schedule:
- 9:50-10:00 — Gather on the Trolley Trail near the MMAX stop / Whole Foods
- 10:00 — Quick introductions and rules of the ride
- 10:05 — Roll!
Our easy pace will accommodate all levels of experience and take the pace of the slowest rider. No one is abandoned along the route.
The route is 3 miles one-way. If your children are riding their own bikes, it's good to understand their endurance levels. We encourage you to ride for your family's success and enjoyment. If that means you turn back after one block - you did it! If that means peeling off halfway - high fives! Want to meet us halfway - do it! Rode all the way with us? Hooray!
Come as you are / as you typically ride! The Trolley Track Trail is crushed gravel and suitable for any age or ability, so long as they know how to go forward :) The ride leader will contact families the day before the ride with contact details or to cancel due to inclement weather.
You assume your own risk by participating in this ride. (We’re just fun parents like you, so can’t afford to be sued.) Helmets and age-appropriate safety gear is strongly encouraged. The event is drizzle-or-shine, above 45°F and below 90°F. Check for updates.

We will not ride if the forecasted "real feel" temp is 90°+ at 10am
We will not ride if it's raining at 9:30am, or if the radar shows impending doom.
