KC Critter Corral is celebrating Pride all month long! Animal play has a long and illustrious history in the LGBTQIA+ community. Put on your rainbow ears, tails, and other gear and join us to pay homage to our fore-pawrents.
KC Critter Corral is a night dedicated to animal players in the Kansas City Metro and surrounding areas. All animal types are welcome - from lap pets to show ponies, to primal predators and prey, to feral strays who don't quite fit into any other category. We're even open to mythics such as dragons, unicorns, and griffins! Whether you're a fluffy golden retriever puppy, a mischievous raccoon, or a regal lioness prowling across the savanna, Critter Corral welcomes you! Handlers, Alphas, and curious newcomers are also encouraged to attend.
Our hosting committee, handlers Sylvie, Tony, and Scout, Pup Socks, and ZaiWolf, will take turns monitoring the pets as they play to keep the rowdiness at a reasonable level. Standard IX dress code and rules of play apply, including requiring towels/barriers between bare skin and furniture. Photos must be fully consensual and must not capture any unknowing patrons in the background. No video of any kind allowed. Please bring your own toys and safety gear (knee pads, shin guards, protective mitts, athletic cups, etc).
IX welcomes vetted kinksters and their guests 18 and up. Not yet vetted for IX? No problem, contact us for details.
Only $5 per person (or pet). Doors open 7-10pm, front desk closes at 8:30. Service animal friendly. LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC affirming. Join us for a barking good time!
Critter Corral has three areas open for play during these events:
The Theater has mats for a frisky Pup Mosh or Primal rough-housing. There’s also space for prancing ponies, unicorns, deer and other hooved critters.
The West Wing is open to animals and handlers who want less rough but still active forms of play such as fetch, ball chase, or training to obey commands. Will there be a ball pit in this area? Or maybe a cardboard critter fort? You’ll have to attend to find out!

The Speakeasy is dedicated to kitten play, cuddles with lap pets, recovery/cool-down, and other soft forms of play.
In addition, the back dock, deck, and patio are open for smoking, breaks and conversation. Critter Snacks and water are available in the kitchen. No play is allowed in these areas.
PLEASE NOTE: The South Suite and Annex sections will be closed for a private event that takes place on the same night as Critter Corral and will not be open for play.
