Who says dragons aren’t real? Explore the cattails and rushes of Spring Lake by kayak and discover the “dragons” (dragonflies) of Sonoma County. These pre-historic terrors of the sky have been around for more than 300 million years! We’ll discuss the history of dragonflies, what has allowed these insects to stick around and why they’re often found near the water. In the process, we’ll get in an invigorating paddle. Kayaks, paddles, safety gear and instruction provided. The cost is $25 and registration is required. Parking $7 or free for Regional Parks members.
