Joins us as we explore the waters and migratory birds of Pea Island National Wildlife Refuge in Rodanthe, NC. This should be peak time for seeing all of the birds that use the eastern flyway for their migration south.We will gather at Cooperative Extension - Currituck Center and depart at 9 am for Rodanthe. We will stop at the visitor's center and then unload the kayaks at the boat ramp and begin our exploration. We will return to Cooperative Extension at 4:30 pm. This program is for ages 8 to 14.
Registration is not complete until your child is enrolled in NC 4-H for the 2025 program year. The link to do that is https://v2.4honline.com/#/user/sign-in.
We are accepting cash and check payments in addition to paying via credit card through Eventbrite. Please, make checks payable to NCSU. Checks and cash payments can be received at the Currituck Extension Office located at 120 Community Way Barco NC 27917, within 5 days of registration. Class size is limited and full registration, including payment, is required to hold your spot.
