About this Event
Join us as we learn about Florida's precious water resources and how to protect them in one of the clearest and most beautiful rivers in the state. We'll start at the KP Hole Park with a brief discussion before we launch kayaks to paddle to the headspring. This is a gentle kayak trip that is around 3 miles round-trip. Registration is only open to adults 18+. Space is limited to 20 people. Park entry fee, lunch, and kayak rental are included. Kayaks may be single or doubles, depending on availability. If you plan to bring your own vessel, please see the FAQs below for more information. Register by October 14th. Contact Amanda Marek, UF/IFAS Marion County Extension Florida-Friendly Landscaping Agent at 352-671-8412 or [email protected] if you have questions or any special dietary restrictions/ requests.
