Join DFO for a Kayak Cleanup ! This is an amazing opportunity to learn more about pollution in our waterways while doing some good!We are stoked to be offering a Kayak Cleanup in Miami Beach, sponsored by Earth Breeze. This event will give you the chance to kayak through Collins Canal in a clear kayak and pick up debris.
Please arrive a few minutes early so we can be ready to head out around 9! There are parking garages nearby both North and South of the shop.
Once everybody is checked in and geared up, we will head out.
We will provide mesh bags for trash, trash grabbers, gloves, sunscreen, bug spray, a water cooler, kayaks, and snorkel gear!
Please pack a reusable water bottle, hat, sun shirt, comfortable clothes, and closed toe shoes.
This is an awesome opportunity, but due to the nature of the activity, young children must be supervised by an adult at all times.
