Join us for our final Kaw Currents event of the year and learn all about the Kansas River watershed - both its ecological past and its present. Jim Locklear, author of, "In the Country of the Kaw", will share his experiences exploring the natural history of the Kansas River and the greater American Plains. The Kansas Water Office, the water planning agency for Kansas, will share about their efforts to plan for diverse water resources and needs of the state of Kansas.
