About Katie:
Katie Hiller is an FEI dressage trainer based out near Chicago and spending winter seasons in Wellington. She started riding at the age of 6, and competing at age 8. Katie has earned her USDF Bronze, Silver, and Gold medals, all aboard a self-trained horse. Katie’s experience ranges from backing and starting young horses, to competing in the highest level of dressage, the Grand Prix.

She strives to achieve harmony, suppleness, and lightness in every horse she trains. She believes in building a trusting partnership with all horses, and enhancing their individual spirit through an encouraging and gymnastic training program. It’s her mission to “carry the torch” of classical dressage training, and to prove that success both at home and in the show ring can be achieved by a training program founded by classical principles and compassionate riding.
