On Saturday 28th December we are excited to be serving-up a double bill of blues rock and boogie when we host both the excellent Katie and the Bad Sign AND the legends that are Vincent Flatts Final Drive: it should be quite a night!Hailing from Manchester, Katie and the Bad Sign - fronted by singer-songwriter Katie O’Malley - describe their sound as a mix of Americana, Blues & good ole Rock n' Roll. Their 70's inspired music takes you on a journey of catchy melody to gritty guitar sounds and gravelly throttling vocals, giving an essence of Janis Joplin brought into modern-day rootsy rock.
We hardly feel we need to describe the Flatts as you all know them by now, right? However, for the uninitiated we can attest to the fact that the boys always put on a great show packed full of driving boogie numbers featuring excellent guitar work from Gary Harper underpinned by the driving rhythm section of Rich Shelton (Drums) and Russ Cook (Bass) ... oh, and of course Birmingham music leg-end Sir Steve 'Bertie' Burton on vocals!
Don't miss this one folks - we're expecting high-demand for tickets so recommend booking early (note the early start too!).
Show Starts: 7.30pm | Ticket: £12.00 (Inc. Fees) Online/£14.00 on the door (subject to capacity)
