Hey, have you ever watched me perform online or onstage and thought to yourself "Gee, Katherine...you sure look like you're having a good time up there."?
Well, you're wrong. ...I'm having the BEST time, AND YOU CAN TOO!
Join me, Tuesdays at 6:00pm from February 3 - 23, 2026 at The Studio/Mile Zero Dance Society for a 4 week beginner burlesque crash course! I wanna get you fired up about your craft and creating from a punk/diy/dollar store/thrifty approach.
We're talking:
-A brief burlesque history.
-Making angry art, queerly.
-Using the internet as a stage!
-Booking and marketing yourself to promoters and festivals.
-I'll probably tangent about sourdough bread at some point...AND MORE!
Whether you're new to the scene or just wanting to make more art with what's around you, I want to inspire you to do just that AND LOUD.
Open to all levels! Only 24 spots available.
I have a few PAY WHAT YOU CAN spots as well. Priority will be given to BIPOC community members.
