Leela Dance Collective is proud to announce Kathak Utsav, a 2024 December showcase highlighting Ayanna Kannan, Seema Barua, and Sasha Salvi alongside special guest artists Ravindra Deo (tabla), Rajib Karmaker (sitar) and Chirag Dixit (sarangi). Witness the key elements of a traditional kathak solo and experience an unforgettable evening of artistry and beauty. Ayanna Kannan, Seema Barua, and Sasha Salvi are all members of the collective, who have all studied within the California gharana under the direct disciples of Pandit Chitresh Das.
