Katelin Tierney is a young woman from Glasgow who has been brought up as a passionate supporter of both Glasgow Celtic and Irish rebel music. From the age of nine Katelin has undergone vocal training with Robert Wishart learning a trade that she loves. She quickly began to learn how to play both guitar and piano and continues to hone these talents .
Katelin began her career playing at charity events organised by Robert raising money for Marie Curie foundation, RobinHouse and local food banks. She also continues to attend “Feel Good Friday “ weekly.
Growing up Katelin found singing as an outlet and felt at ease from normally being shy and often anxious amongst her peers.
Her path to singing Irish republican songs has been greatly influenced by her grandfather who continues to support her daily. It has always been her passion to showcase these songs and stories to a larger audience around Scotland and Ireland.
