Welcome to the KataKata Freedom Festival 2026!
Get ready for an unforgettable in-person experience filled with music, art, community spirit. KataKata Freedom Festival 2026 has something for everyone. Don’t miss out on the beautiful community centred culture that Katakata has created.
KataKata is a Black-owned Community Hub who is passionate about advocating for inclusive, joyous spaces for the Disabled and Neurodivergent Community.
The KataKata festival aims to be a creative, inclusive, accessible space. Explore local vendors, enjoy live artists, meet likeminded people and participate in creative sessions throughout the day.
The festival will be a chaptered event.
THE PEACEFUL CHAPTER 2-5pm: A quieter less busy part of the day with limited tickets with relaxed creative workshops, acoustic artists. All catered towards those of us who prefer quieter spaces and relaxing environments
THE PARTY CHAPTER 5-11pm: With live performances from local artists, more creative workshops and speakers building to party vibes including DJ's and a silent disco.

*Accessible ticket options: We think everyone should be able to enjoy the beautiful vibe at Katakata. We recognise the challenges that under-represented groups face including Neurodiverse people, Disabled people, economically disadvantaged individuals, people of colour and LGBTQ+ folks. Therefore we are offering donate what you can tickets. This means there is no minimum amount (so if you need, you can join in for free, no questions asked).
