Step by step within the framework of various tasks you will learn the difference between — being an object (maximum realistic), being an anthropomorphic character, and being a person with the characteristics of an object/animal. Expand the spectrum of the characters you can play. The greatest compliment Kaspars had ever received after this workshop was"I used to be scared and insecure about playing anthropomorphic characters in scenes. I didn't like it. But this class changed all that! Thank you!"

About the Teacher:
Latvia
Many years ago Kaspars (he/him) fell in love with improv. Since then he studied it and worked with many fantastic improvisers. The biggest cornerstone was his participation in improvisation festivals. In order to introduce Latvian improvisers to international improvisation, he and his like-minded people founded "Improv Comedy Riga" and invited teachers from abroad. During this still ongoing project, over 25 improvisation teachers from different countries visited Latvia. Each of these experiences influenced him and the way he is as an improviser. Kaspars helps to create a supportive community of modern improvisation not only through ICR but he’s one of the founders and teachers in Improv Theater Academy in Riga. He loves teaching and believes that he’s learning from every single student as well. Kaspars is looking forward to the opportunity to improvise with you!
