The West of Willow collective returns with another amazing words-and-music event, this time benefiting the crucial work of the Hoboken Shelter.KARYN KUHL & THE GANG Maxwell's veteran Kuhl has led the rocking combos Gut Bank and Sexpod, and with her current bandmates – Charlie Nieland, Lou Ciarlo, Jonpaul Pantozzi, and Billy Loose – is producing music more urgent than ever.
DEBBY SCHWARTZ has achieved national acclaim with The Aquanettas, P.G. Six, Psych-O-Positive, and as a solo artist. She will be joined by Larry Heinemann of Springhouse, Blue Man Group, and Music for Enophiles.
DANNY SHOT is the author of the poetry collection Works and the poet-in-residence for the Hoboken Historical Museum.
JACK SILBERT is an author, editor, music podcast host, WFMU personality, and frequent master of ceremonies.
VERA SIROTA is the author of the poetry chapbook We Bow to No One and the communications associate for the Hoboken Historical Museum.
Established in 1982, the Hoboken Shelter provides food, shelter, case management, counseling, and skills-training workshops, and permanent supportive housing solutions for its guests.
