Karrie O'Neill is a singer songwriter based out of Spokane, Wa. Her soulfuland pure voice will captivate you with a range that can go from a power house
belt like Patty Labelle to the softness of a Nora Jones whisper in a matter of
seconds taking you on a journey with each song ending making you want
more.
She started her music career in 2008 playing all over Washington and Idaho. In
2010 she released her first album, TimeKeepers Dream, an eclectic mixture of
sound and dreamy vocals which created a folk pop sensation. The album was
recorded in Idaho at Styles Ranch in the home of Cristopher Lucas, son of
David Lucas, producer of Blue Oyster Cult.
Following that release she continued to branch out and found herself
recording her 2nd CD Unrequited Love in 2015 which was produced in
Spokane, WA. and then recorded at Robert Lang studios in Seattle home to
Nirvana. The likes of Kurt Ramm and Bill Holloman horn section of the Bruce
Springsteen band and Nile Rogers, Tasha Larue of Arrested Development, and
guitar extraordinaire Gemi Taylor all found interest and played in a number of
the songs.
Following a successful CD release in Spokane of 2016, she found herself
landing on Maui in 2017 after complications stopped a tour where she
recorded her single Daybreak up in Kula at Root Cellar studios with producer
David Whitney. Her music then found her playing a range of originals and
covers at Mick Fleetwood's bar Fleetwoods on Front St., Mulligans on the Blue,
Maui Brewing Co., private events and Chef table events. She has played with
the likes of Willy Wainwright, Kris Thomas (the late Willy K drummer) Steve
Grimes and various other artists living on Maui.
