This year we have 3 Australian judges. It’s run the old way, using the Karnak Breed Groups. We have changed some of the groups to make it clearer and fairer. Here are the changes: Group 4 Lilliputian has the Gaelic fold and Bambino added to them, as well as their variants. Group 5 Persian and 6 Exotic/Hybrid will be put together as one group. The Patterned Group has the Toyger added to it. Firstly, the cats will be judged for the Best of Breed. Then against other breeds in their group to get the Best of Group. This means entire cats, entire kittens, desexed cats, and desexed kittens go up against each other within their breed. Then the best of that group will go in a judge-off, and the best of the best will go into the Karnak ring. All exhibits that make the Karnak ring get points, and the Supreme Karnak Winner gets points.
