Charity football match in memory of Karl ‘Chief’ Lynn. Kick off 10:30am at Binley Woods Park. This time has been picked so we can be back at the Rose & Crown for the Leicester vs Coventry game. £1 entry on the day for spectators includes a team sheet and £5 per player to play all proceeds going to the chosen charity. Once finished everyone is invited back to the Rose and Crown, Wolston to raise a glass to our missed friend with things going on throughout the afternoon and evening to raise as much money as we possibly can for the charity. We hope to see as many faces there as we can and thanks for your support from all involved. If you wish to play please inform Rory Higgins or Ryan Isherwood and arrive for 10am on the day. We have mixed it up a bit this year and teams will be drawn from pots on the day to get a nice even spread as a lot of players have played for both villages over the years. If anyone had any raffle or auction prizes please let us know and let’s try and make this as good if not better than last year.
