Copperfield’s Books welcomes local author Karin Fitz Sanford to Santa Rosa for book 2 in the Wine Country Cold Case series - Running on Empty, a M**der mystery set in Santa Rosa.
Karin will be in conversation with Santa Cruz author Vinnie Hansen, a Claymore and Silver Falchion finalist.
The discussion will be followed by a Q&A and book signing.

The ex-FBI agent-turned-estate liquidator certainly believes so and starts putting the clues together: a client’s diary with a treasure map, a puzzling letter, a menacing white truck—all of which drives her into dangerous territory, both of the heart and mind.
Anne will have to keep her wits about her if she plans on outracing thieves and solving Dinah’s M**der without becoming a victim herself, for dark forces are working against her at every turn and she’s running out of people to trust.
Author: Karin Fitz Sanford, a former advertising copywriter, was born in New York but grew up in Santa Rosa, the setting for her Wine Country Cold Case mystery series: The Last Thing Claire Wanted (book 1) and Running on Empty (book 2). Having run her own award-winning ad agency for over twenty-five years, she now devotes herself full time to writing and lives in Santa Rosa, California, with her husband. Vinnie Hansen, a Claymore and Silver Falchion finalist, is the author of the Carol Sabala mystery series, the novels Lostart Street and One Gun, as well as over sixty short works. Level Best Books will reissue One Gun later this month and will publish its suspense novel companion, Crime Writer, in the summer of 2025.
