It's annual Cambridge skating weekend time - August Bank Holiday weekend (trains look OK). I plan on going to Cambridge on Fri afternoon, maybe a little punting (bat spotting ??) in the evening and then Cambridge Busway (Cambridge North to St Ives & back, starting 11am) on Sat & on Sunday. Shorter skate (1/2 busway ??) on Mon morning. Can do a little skating around the commons/meadows too or explore a little further (new estate building site that Law & I found last year might not be fenced off anymore !!!). Some of us have stayed in Christ's College in centre of town previously - quite fun !! There's also the Novotel which is at Cambridge North station. You can do whole weekend or parts thereof - just post your intentions below.
