Happy Summer to you!We are ready to kick off an amazing new season at Karate in Kawartha Lakes and we are thrilled to announce our 2025-2026 classes will be starting this September at our Lindsay Wado Kai dojo at the Alexandra Public School in Lindsay on Tuesday, and at our Mariposa Wado Kai dojo at the Mariposa Public School in Oakwood on Wednesdays.
The timing for these classes and the division of these classes will be as follows:
Fees
As you know, all of our instructors are volunteers, so we are glad to be able to:
* Keep the Dojo Fees the same as 2024-2025 @ $100
* The SWKKF fee will be $90. This was increased due to rising insurance and administrative costs
* Total = $190 for the September to June year unless otherwise noted below
Class Schedule
Lindsay Wado Kai Dojo - Tuesdays
6:05-6:35 Kids class: white belts to white/black stripe belts ages 5-6 = $160 for the year
6:40-7:40 Junior class: white belts to yellow belts ages 7-9 = $190 for the year
7:45-8:45 Senior class: ages 11+ all ranks = $190 for the year
Mariposa Dojo - Wednesdays
6:05-6:35 Kids class: white belts to white/black stripe belts ages 5-6 = $160 for the year (special rate)
6:40-7:40 Junior class: white belts to yellow belts ages 7-9 = $190 for the year
7:45-8:45 Senior class: ages 11+ all ranks = $190 for the year
Start Date
Classes will officially start on Tuesday September 16th in Lindsay and on Wednesday September 17th in Oakwood for karate
Classes for Shindo will start on Monday September 22nd in Lindsay.

*Registration Forms and Waivers will be available on the day of registration and will be available on the Karate In Kawartha Lakes FaceBook page shortly.
