Kappa Delta Shamrock 5K Run/Walk

Lace up your sneakers and join us for the annual Kappa Delta Shamrock 5K Run/Walk at NTC Park, Liberty Station, on March 8 ! Whether you're a seasoned runner or just looking for a fun way to support a great cause, this event is perfect for everyone. The race will kick off at 9:00 AM, but registration opens at 8:00 AM. So, come early to check-in and get ready for a morning filled with energy, excitement, and community spirit.
This year, we’re adding an extra splash of fun! Throughout the race route, you’ll have the option to run through colorful cornstarch stations where you’ll be doused in vibrant hues as you make your way to the finish line. You can choose to skip the color stations if you prefer, but either way, you’ll leave with a smile and great memories.
The event raises awareness and funding for our national philanthropy, Prevent Child Abuse America (PCAA), and our local partner, Olive Crest, an organization dedicated to helping San Diego foster children find their forever homes. Our goal this year is to raise $40,000, with 80% of the funds benefiting Olive Crest’s life-changing work here in San Diego, and the remaining 20% supporting PCAA’s mission nationwide.
