The Ritz-Carlton Maui, Kapalua is proud to present Henry Kapono, one of Hawai‘i’s most beloved musical icons, as part of the Kapalua Concert Series on Friday, Sept. 5, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. This special evening of music at the resort’s Alaloa Lounge is complimentary and open to the public, celebrating the power of local music and community connection.Opening the evening is Lovejack, a singer-songwriter from Honolulu known for blending soulful pop with innovative cello-rhythm looping. Selected by the Henry Kapono Foundation’s “On the Rise” program, which supports emerging local artists, Lovejack’s performance will kick off Henry Kapono Foundation Month, a monthlong celebration throughout September honoring the legacy and future of local music in the Hawaiian Islands.

His foundation’s mission to support and elevate local musicians aligns with the resort’s dedication to cultural enrichment and community engagement.
The Kapalua Concert Series is a signature experience at The Ritz-Carlton Maui, Kapalua, showcasing renowned musicians in an intimate setting overlooking Honokahua Bay. Guests can enjoy Alaloa Lounge’s curated menu featuring craft cocktails, fresh sushi and sashimi, and elevated comfort cuisine. Seating is first-come, first-served, with food and beverages available for purchase. Complimentary valet parking is available.
