Welcome to our NEW Teenage Pathway!
With the rising success of our Teen Competitions over the last 4 years we have decided to run a Teenage Pathway, consisting of U16 and U19 men, and U19 Women.
This is the second qualifier.
For Women all competitions this year including the final will be Open (not need qualification) while we continue to grow the class.
The Top 5 from each qualifier will go through to the British Finals alongside the Juniors later in the year.
This is open to ANY British Nationality.
Age rules
For U19 not to have their 20th Birthday in 2024
For U16 not to have their 17th Birthday in 2024
Proof of Age will be required on competition day
Event 1
Log Press. Reps must be from the floor to lockout. 60 seconds as many reps as possible.
U16 Boys 47.5kg or 67.5kg
U19 Boys 67.5kg or 97.5kg
U19 Girls 27.5kg or 40kg (9 inch log)
Grip tops allowed.
PICK YOUR WEIGHT. 1 REP AT HEAVIER BEATS ANY AT LIGHTER.
Event 2
Standard Barbell Deadlift. 60 seconds as many reps as possible.
U16 boys 140kg or 190kg
U19 boys 180kg or 240kg
U19 Girls 70kg or 120kg
PICK YOUR WEIGHT. 1 REP AT HEAVIER BEATS ANY AT LIGHTER.
Event 3
Farmers Walk from approx 17" pickup.
40metres total as fast as possible.
Drop and turn every 10 metres
U16 boys 80kg per hand
U19 boys 100kg per hand
U19 girls 60kg per hand
Event 4
Sandag Loading for Reps
u16 Boys 70kg
u19 Boys 100kg
U19 Girls 50kg
As many reps as possible in 75 seconds
Event 5
Power Stairs
U16 boys 90/110/130
U19 boys 130/150/170
U19 Girls 60/80/100
Athletes must bring some form of age verification on competition day.
All athletes under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
