🎸 KANUTON: “Greetings from Ohio” EP Release & JOHNNY NOBODY’S 25th Anniversary! 🎸

Buffalo’s indie scene is kicking off 2026 with a high-octane double celebration at the legendary Tudor Lounge. Join Kanuton as they drop their highly anticipated new EP, Greetings from Ohio, on a night that also honors a quarter-century of Buffalo garage rock royalty.

Known for their "jangly guitars, low-key melodies, and a solid rhythm section" (Buffalo State Record), Kanuton has been a fixture of the local scene since their standout performance at the WBNY Battle of the Bands. This new release features three original tracks alongside a special, fuzzed-out cover of The National.

This is the first 2026 show for all three bands—don't miss the return of live, garage-rock grit to Franklin Street.

KANUTON – Headlining the night with their signature "aggressive and edgy version of indie rock." Come hear the new EP Greetings from Ohio played live in its entirety.

JOHNNY NOBODY – Celebrating 25 Years! Harvest Sum Recording Artists and "long-time garage rock stalwarts" (buffaBLOG). For two and a half decades, their power has come from shifting from barroom blues-rock riffage to gritty psychedelia and fuzzed-up power pop. Buffalo Toronto Public Media describes their sound as "unfettered, uncompromised rock and roll as it should be."

LIKE A PANTHER – Commonly described as "Sonic Youth for people who like garage rock," Like a Panther is known for high-velocity energy and experimental textures. Local press has highlighted their "complexity of compositions" and "explosive leads" (NYS Music), making them one of the most dynamic live acts in the city.
