We will ride in a slow silent procession to honor cyclists who have been killed or injured while cycling on public roadways.
Cycling Kansas City is organizing this 18th annual Kansas City ride. Over 100 bicyclists have been killed in the Kansas City area. The Kansas City ride will honor those and other bicyclists.
Participants of all abilities are invited to join the procession. The ride will not exceed 12 mph. We will read the names of those who lost their lives or were injured while riding their bicycles during a brief ceremony followed by ride protocol safety instructions and the ride. Please email any names that may not be on the list.
